Urfa Durum- Turkish sandwiches. This is always our first meal in Paris. Perfect walking food.
Miznon - Veggies, veggies, veggies, oh and lamb kebab to die for. Don't miss the famous cauliflower, sack of beans and a cold Budweiser. Casual and delicious great for lunch or dinner.
L'as du Falafel - Amazing falafel, (not all falafel is created equal) worth the sometimes long wait in line. If Lenny Kravitz loves it so much so will you.
snacks & Sips
L’Orillion - Lovely spot for lunch, midday snack or an evening bite. Natural wine, small plates, if the clams are on the menu they are a MUST order.
La Buvette - A simple spot where you can taste bottles of excellent natural wines alongside a few small plates from owner Camille Fourmont, truly a one woman show. This is a great spot to buy a bottle of wine to-go, but don't pass up a snack (The white beans are a sleeper). Opens at 10am for all your wine drinking needs.
Deviant - Deviant is open to the street behind a slide up garage door. Outdoor seating spills into the street. Chef focused small plates. Super fun scene, great for an aperitif.
Septime La Cave - This wine shop/ bar is the perfect place to grab a glass before dinner at Clamato, Louie Louie or Septime. It’s always filled with a cool local crowd, truly the coziest of spots to be.
Le Verre Vole - If you like eating in a wine shop (who doesn't like eating in a wine shop?) go here! Natural wine bar with delicious sharable bites.
Martin -Continues to be one of our absolute favorite places in Paris. Warm and welcoming neighborhood spot. Delicious sharable bites with a fun wine and beer list. This is perfect for snacks, drinks or dinner, but be aware it may suck you in for hours. If there are no seats available, grab a glass of wine and make yourself comfortable on the sidewalk.
Folderol - Wine shop/ bar / ice cream shop. What more could you want?

Dandelion - One of the best bites of the last visit. Opened in Spring of 2024, ex chef from Septime, make a reservation, not to be missed!
19 Saint Roch - New spot from one of our favorite chefs Pierre. Amazing lunch option, gorgeous wine list, perfect option for a special meal in the 1st. Book ahead.
Parcelles - Beautiful restaurant with equally gorgeous food and wine. The sweet breads are not to be missed! Book ahead.
Bistrot Paul Bert - This is the quintessential French Bistrot. Old school with a fresh breath. Killer wine, classic dishes, dont sleep on the steak au poive and the strawberries during the spring!
Mokonuts - Dining here is almost like walking into the private home of Moko Hirayama and Omar Koreitem, the Japanese-Lebanese couple who run this totally original Middle Eastern-inflected lunch and pastry shop. Almost an impossible reservation so plan ahead!
Le Mary Celeste- Beautiful light and airy spot with food, wine and cocktails to match. Nice for a break from all the heavy French food. Lunch (on the weekends), dinner, snacks or just a cocktail.
Clamato - Seafood HEAVEN. Lively, flavorful, colorful and inventive. Lunch, dinner and beverages to match, cider, sake, vermouth, cocktails and great wine list.
Vivant - One of our absolute favorites. Very tiny space with great a natural wine list and daily changing menu. Put your trust in their gracious staff's hands and you will not be disappointed. Downstairs from Hotel Paradis.
Le Rigmarole - Japanese inspired Yakitori with handmade pasta tasting menu. Innovative, delicious and wonderful ambiance. Reservations are a must.
Le Baratin -Small neighborhood restaurant, very classic French dishes in a gorgeous atmosphere. This restaurant will make you KNOW you are in Paris. The husband, wife team make this spot a must. Reservation needed.
Clown Bar - Romantic ambiance, delicious French classics updated and reinvented. Open for lunch and dinner with indoor and outdoor seating. This is one of the hardest reservations to get, so book early.
Septime - You will find this gem next door to Clamato. Seasonal modern French tasting menu and wine pairing. Dinner and lunch. Reservations are a must!
Le Grande Bain - One of our favorite chefs in Paris just opened this lovely spot. Grab a seat at the bar or book a table and order everything to share. Perfect dinner spot and check for occasional Sunday roast.
Au Passage - Fun lively locals crowd (has been discovered by us travelers too). Rustic sharable bites, check out the chefs rocking out in the kitchen while you wait for your table. We haven’t been here in years but always enjoyed our meals here immensely. Reservations suggested.
Racines - Elegant bistro in a former printing factory, making elevated, slow-cooked French and Italian staples. Open for lunch and dinner. Reservations highly recommended.
Le Comptoir du Relais - Classic bistro fare. One of Anthony Bourdain's favorite spots. Reservations for dinner, drop by for breakfast or lunch.

Candelaria - Agave heaven, squeezed behind a tiny taco shop. Tacos might not be what jumps to mind when you think about eating in Paris, but sometimes the craving hits. This is the place to go for lively cocktails, great DJs and the best tacos in town.
Le Syndicat - This magical cocktail bar is veiled behind a graffitied shopfront. The hip-hop soundtrack and cocktails (made with exclusively French spirits) make this a must visit.
La Commune - Rum, hip-hop, jungle terrace, tiki vibes, aloha shirts, and as the name implies sharable punch. Bring some friends, order a bowl to share and get weird.
Combat - This cocktail bar is run by some bad ass ladies making some of the most delicious and beautiful cocktails in town. Light, fresh, bright and colorful.
Harry’s New York Bar - Opened in 1911 Harry’s Bar is the home of the original French 75 and was a regular watering hole for characters such as Gershwin, Hemingway, and James Bond.
Dirty Dick - Tiki Bar in Pigalle. Enough said.
Andy Wahloo - Fun space, great design, good tunes. Grab a bar seat, a corner in the lounge or a table on the patio. Pop next door to Derriere for some delicious North African fare.
The Hemingway Bar at the Ritz - As historic as it gets. The right place for a perfect martini after a long day of shopping.
Coffee
Ten Belles - Always a good choice, you can even get a coffee to-go!
Merci - One of our favorite stores for home goods and clothes, check out their bookstore and cafe if you need a place to play cards or take a break from shopping.
Trombone - If you are craving a proper coffee and missing oat milk this is your spot.
